<h1>we want you for Squeeze artwork</h1>
<p>You might have heard that Debian is <a href=
"http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2010/06/msg00002.html">
closing up</a> on the forthcoming Squeeze release. In its aim to be
"universal", Debian addresses several different kinds of users and
Squeeze will be no exception. For several users, and in particular
for <em>desktop users</em>, <strong>artworks</strong> do matter and
initiatives like the one <a href=
"http://lists.debian.org/debian-desktop/2010/06/msg00003.html">started
by Valessio Brito</a> are likely to improve their user
experience.</p>
<p>In essence, the initiative is a <a href=
"http://wiki.debian.org/DebianDesktopArtworkSqueeze"><strong>Debian
Squeeze artwork "contest"</strong></a> where Debian enthusiasts
skilled in graphics can contribute themes and propose them to
become the official/default theme for Debian Squeeze.</p>
<p>So, are you a Debian enthusiast that would like to help Debian
by putting into use your graphic skills?<br />
<a href=
"http://wiki.debian.org/DebianDesktopArtworkSqueeze">This</a> is a
big chance to do that!</p>
<p>Before going forward, please check the rather precise <a href=
"http://wiki.debian.org/DebianDesktop/ArtworkRequirements"><strong>requirements</strong></a>
that Valessio prepared and check some of the already submitted
proposals.</p>
<p>Good luck!</p>
